Convention 2017

Connects you to the world

The Canadian Church Press has teamed up with the Catholic Press Association and the SIGNIS World Congress to inspire, energize and inform you with a huge array of workshops, bootcamps and networking opportunities in historic Quebec City. Sharing Stories of Hope will give us all the chance to pull back and look at what we do and why.

On Canada’s 150th anniversary, in the CCPs 60th year, you will learn about social media strategies, using photography across all your platforms, leveraging your circulation to increase revenues, knowing the purpose and prayer behind your publication all in a 400 year old, cobblestoned, walled city that still echoes with the dreams of New France.

From fundraising tips to writing for the twitter-verse, the conference offers a host of opportunities for professional development.

Join us June 20 to 23. Registration is just $265 for the full conference, including our annual awards banquet Thursday, June 22. Registration without the awards banquet is $250. Any additional banquet tickets are $55. You can pay and register here.

To keep your costs down, this year’s registration does not include breakfasts or lunches. These are available for well under $20 at campus cafeterias or you can brown-bag it. If you choose to stay at the Laval University hotel-like guest suites, breakfast is included there. The Catholic Press Association is offering lunches on all three days for U.S.$50 per meal. You can may buy one or more lunches when you sign in at Laval.

We’ve increased travel subsidies to $200 for the first 10 applicants. Please fill in this form.
